首先要明确一点，感恩节是一个地道的美国节日，欧洲人是不过感恩节的，所以祝福邮件不必发给欧洲买家了。

美国庆祝感恩节的传统可以追溯到历史中那艘著名的“五月花号”。1620年9月，受英国国教迫害的清教徒著名领袖布雷德福召集了102名同伴，登上了名为“五月花号”的木制帆船。他们怀着美好的憧憬，开始了哥伦布式的冒险航行。他们最终到达了美洲大陆，并将这片新土地命名为“新英格兰”。

但新生活并不美好，从大西洋上吹来的凛冽寒风和漫天的冰雪让初来乍到的他们措手不及。恶劣环境加上缺少必要的装备，不少人病倒了。接踵而来的传染病又夺去许多人的生命。冬天过后，历经千辛万苦到达美洲的移民只有50人幸存。

春天到来时，心地善良的印第安人发现了他们，给他们送来了很多生活必需品，还特地派人教他们如何狩猎、捕鱼、耕种玉米、南瓜及饲养火鸡。在印第安人的帮助下，这一年秋天，他们获得了大丰收。第一批来自英国的清教徒移民终于在这块殖民地上站住了脚。11月底，移民们举行盛大的庆祝活动。他们感谢上帝的恩赐及印第安人的无私帮助。庆祝活动一共进行了三天。

这一习俗流传了下来，在北美十三州统一时，首任总统乔治·华盛顿把感恩节设定为全国性节日。

美国与加拿大都有过感恩节的传统，不同的是，加拿大的感恩节在每年的10月中旬，而美国的感恩节是每年11月的第4个星期四，今年在11月27日。这一天也是美国的公共假日，美国人往往连上周末，度过一个4-5天的假期，作为美国血拼季和休假季的开始。

所以如果有美国客户，不妨在这两天就写一封感恩节邮件，送上祝福。以下是一些常用的语句与邮件模板，供大家参考（最好修改一下，加上个性化的元素）：
